Cloud & DevOps
Infrastructure, CI/CD and observability. The goal is a deployment that is uneventful enough to run on a Friday, and enough signal in production to find out about a problem before a customer reports it.
What this covers
Reproducible environments
Infrastructure as code, so staging genuinely resembles production and a rebuild is a command rather than an archaeology exercise.
Pipelines with real gates
Type checks, tests and migrations run before a deploy proceeds, with a rollback path that has been tested rather than assumed.
Observability that gets used
Structured logs, error tracking and alerts tuned to be worth waking up for. An alert nobody trusts is worse than no alert.
Backups you have restored
A backup is not verified until it has been restored once. We do that as part of the engagement, not as a line in a runbook.
